[ The Cherry Pit isn't much to look at on the outside, just a big neon cherry sign to clear away some of the gloom of the Down, but at least it doesn't raise expectations for the inside either. The red upholstery of the booths has definitely seen better days and despite a few fruit-themed touches it's the kind of bar where every surface is somehow either wet or sticky or both.
